The cleaner the fat, the cleaner the final product. And that starts with a single, non-negotiable decision: We use only the highest-quality, most traceable, most ethically raised fat available anywhere in the region.

100% Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished

Most brands that claim "grass-fed" finish their cattle on grain in the final weeks before processing. Not us. Our cattle eat nothing but pasture grass from birth to finish. Grass-fed, grass-finished beef consistently shows a more favorable fat profile, including higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin E precursors. The fat profile of a grass-finished animal is measurably different from a grain-finished one, and that difference ends up in your jar.

Kidney Suet Only. No Trim Fat.

We do not use the same fat everyone else uses. We use kidney suet exclusively: the hard, crumbly fat surrounding the kidneys and loins. It is naturally low in impurities, exceptionally stable at heat, and rich in bio-identical fatty acids. Most bulk tallow is rendered from whatever fat trimmings get scraped off during butchering. That variable-quality tissue contains more impurities, proteins, and connective tissue, making it less stable, more prone to odor, and more likely to cause irritation. Every batch we make starts with pure suet and nothing else.

We partner with local, USDA-certified Florida farms with a genuine commitment to responsible, pasture-based ranching: land stewardship, soil health, and ethical animal welfare. We're one of the few skincare makers sourcing exclusively 100% grass-fed, grass-finished suet. Every animal is raised on open pasture with no antibiotics, no synthetic growth hormones, no mRNA vaccines, and no feedlot practices. What goes into the animal shows up in the fat, and we are not willing to compromise on that. The way an animal is raised matters — not just for the quality of the fat, but for the integrity of what we are building.
